INPOWERD is seeking a Principal-level Consultant with deep, hands-on expertise in NERC Operations and Planning Reliability Standards to join our growing consulting practice.

This is a senior, trusted-advisor role for an experienced professional who has lived inside real-time operations, planning, or regulatory oversight and understands how NERC standards are applied in the real world, not just how they are written.

The ideal candidate brings:

• Extensive experience with NERC Operations and Planning Reliability Standards (such as TOP, IRO, BAL, FAC, TPL, PRC as applicable)

• Practical background in system operations, planning, or compliance leadership

• The ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical, sustainable internal controls

• Experience supporting or leading audits, self-reports, mitigation, and regulator engagement

• Executive-level communication skills and the credibility to advise senior leaders
